Unfinished From this task, I have learnt how cinematography, editing, and mise en scene is used in different music genres. I have found that chart and pop music tend tone dressed more smart/casually rather than an alternative or rap song. Faster editing is also used in rap videos rather than a slow sounding song.

Task 8 Task 3- Audience Research

By completing this task, I have learnt how other people react to student videos produced by other schools. I now also know what I should put into my music video and what I should't put in my music video when it comes to plan and create my video. From watching other student's music videos, I have found out it is better to have two cameras when filming as you can have multiple angles for the same take. I have also learnt that I need to find someone who is prepared to take part in my music video and will look like they are enjoying it instead of someone in my music video who looks really awkward and doesn't want to take part.

Task 7 Part 4- Music Video Analysis

Now that I have completed this task, I now know how to apply the different media Theories to a music video, for example Andrew Goodwin's theory of disjuncture and how to use the gratification model in a music video I now know how to apply it to mine when it comes round to making and constructing my music video to give it the same effect that other music videos have in order to make similar to other music videos as it applies to the different media theories.

Task 7 Part 1- Music Video Analysis

\ By completing this task, I now know how music videos uses mise on scene,editing, sound and cinematography. When I come to make my music video, I will know how to dress the people in my video along with camera angles I will use. Each technique has a different effect on the viewer for example slow motion might show intensity and makes the viewer feel intense.

Task 7 Task 2- Music Video Analysis

By completing this task, I can now identify performance and narrative aspects of the song as well as key bits of mine on scene, cinematography and editing used in these specific music videos. I can also analyse these music videos by using different theories such as the Equilibrium Theory and Todorov's Theory.

Task 9- Music Video Directors

After completing this task, I now have the knowledge of what different music directors produce whether it's rock, pop, rap etc. For example, Francis Lawrence has worked with Lady Gaga and The Black Eyed Peas who are quite pop genre artists meanwhile a music video director such as Ruskin Kyle, produces more underground music and would probably have a lower price budget over someone like Mark Romanek who has directed music videos for Jay-Z and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Task 8 Part 4- Audience Research

By completing this task, I can now see how technology has changed within the consumption of music videos and how people watch videos nowadays via the internet. I can see that consumption of music videos has become very simple and easy for example, purchasing music videos and navigating your way around a website to find a specific music videos.
